Student Sorter

The Student Sorter...

...is a school-specific Google spreadsheet that presents both comprehensive student-level data points and school-wide Dashboards that provide a snapshot of academic, attendance, and behavior progress aligned with the Community Schools model.

Data includes student demographics, attendance, marking period grades (middle school only), state assessment proficiency ratings and growth percentiles, iReady and Ready formative assessments, SOHO behavioral data, and more.

Schools can customize their Sorters by recording targeted and intensive supports and interventions and matching students with the services supports they receive.

Below are a range of resources to help you make the most of the Student Data Sorter.

Access

Who has access to the Student Sorter? Returning Community Schools are each equipped with Data Tools provided by New Visions for Public Schools. These Data Tools encourage proactive decision-making to keep students on track academically, develop targeted supports and interventions, and plan for Regents completions and graduation.

PLEASE NOTE: Community Schools that started in 2017-18 or have a new DBN in 2017-18 will have access to their Data Tools in the winter/spring of 2017-18 and will receive notification once tools are available.
